Meet the Team
Courtney Clemmons
Courtney Clemmons is a graduate of the Visual Disabilities program at the Florida State University. She also earned a Master’s Degree in Orientation and Mobility (O&M). She has experience working as a Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) and Certified Orientation & Mobility Specialist at the Lighthouse of Manasota and the School District of Manatee County.
Courtney specializes in working with children from age 3-22. She has extensive training in the Unified English Braille Code and teaching the Expanded Core Competencies. In addition, she also has experience with puppy training for the Southeastern Guide Dogs in Palmetto, Florida.
Mrs. Clemmons is the primary reviewer for Everyday Sight.
Wesley Banks, P.E.
Wesley Banks is a graduate of the Engineering program at the University of Florida. As a Professional Engineer he has worked all over the United States. His primary expertise is in the science behind the devices and products you’ll be reading about.
Wesley is the editor in chief at Everyday Sight, with primary contributions to Assistive Technology and Vision Safety/Protection Products.
